About Country Village...
Country Village, whose formal name is The Northbriar Community Association Inc., was established over 36 years ago when the first home was occupied in late 1973. It is a community of 477 single-family homes.
Country Village has convenient access to major highways via short drives either North or South on Kirkwood. A short drive East on I-10 will get you to Town & Country Village (near the Sam Houston Tollway) and Memorial City Mall (at Gessner). The Royal Oaks shopping complex is South on Kirkwood at Westheimer and West Oaks Mall is a short drive West at Westheimer and State Highway 6. It is within easy reach of drug stores such as Walgreen’s and CVS Pharmacy, and grocery stores such as Randall's, HEB and Kroger's Signature stores. In addition to the wide variety of nearby restaurants and entertainment possibilities, there is easy access to events in the downtown Houston and surrounding community areas.
When selecting a community, our children’s education is a crucial deciding factor. The Country Village Community is fortunate to be surrounded by excellent Houston Independent School District (HISD) schools, exceptional private schools and first-rate daycare facilities.
Country Village is a strong community with involved residents. Country Village is a deed enforcement community of which our continued goal is to increase our property values. By enforcing deed restrictions, the community is a desirable place to live.
If you are considering a West Houston Community to live in, we welcome you to consider Country Village for your new home.
